About the position

Work Area: Software-User Experience
Work Location: 100% remote (meetings in CET timezone)
Expected Travel: 0%, (2 to 3 team events per year)
Experience Level: Senior
Employment Type: Freelance Contractor or temporary part-time contract

About the Role

You should be an exceptionally talented user experience designer who has an open mind-set to be responsible for developing and driving the user experience vision for our next generation SAP Security Platform, based on the SAP Fiori design system and guidelines. You will be analyzing customer and internal stakeholder requirements and breaking the vision down into executable units.

It will be your responsibility to listen to customers and visualizing concepts in a clear, structured, and compelling manner to verify user interface designs through reviews, validations, and drive usability testing with end-users. You will be the UI subject matter expert within an agile development team and manage the design-related UI backlog items for the team.

Expectations and Tasks

• Lead UI/UX strategy and implement SAP’s Fiori User Experience design to our SAP Security & Compliance Platform
• Develop personas and work with the Product Team to ensure the Platform fits with the Product Vision
• Provide technical product expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP UI strategy
• Be responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Build credible relationships with peers and clients
• Consistently be able to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and understand and be responsive to project and customer needs. 
• Utilize available time efficiently to achieve quality results and consistently complete deliverables on-time

Must-haves

• Experience with Design Thinking process or solution prototyping using tools such as SAP BUILD, Sketch, Axure, or Invision
• Prior experience implementing UX Solutions such as SAP Fiori 3, Fundamental Library
• Basic understanding of SAP’s Business solutions such as SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA
• B2B Enterprise Solution development experience

Nice-to-haves

• Experience withing Angular JS, HTML5, CSS3, and Web security
• Project planning and management
• Data visualization
• Animations and video making
